GOVERNING BODY CONSTITUTION

The Constitution of the Governing Body at Fairway Primary school consists of:

• One Local Authority Governor
• Six Co-opted Governors
• Two Parent Governors
• One Staff Governor
• The Headteacher

All of the roles above have voting rights where necessary.

The governing body can also agree to having associative governors, however these governors do not hold the right to vote.

The Full Governing Body meet four times during the academic year.

There are two sub committees:

• The Resource Committee who meet once every half term.
• The Curriculum and Standards Committee who meet once every term.

There is also a Pay Committee who meet once every year.
